About This Project

The QCG OCS200 Computer Coin Grading Machine is a portable, Wi‑Fi enabled device that grades coins in about 15 minutes using a light‑tight chamber with four adjustable light sources and captures at least 24 images per coin. It applies the N.C.I. grading methodology to output a quantitative Sheldon Grade and an estimated market value, delivered via email after processing. Backers receive the hardware plus a coin‑grading subscription (1‑ to 9‑month), free shipping, and a one‑year warranty, allowing them to grade anywhere from 50 coins to unlimited amounts depending on the pledge level. The technology aims to increase transparency and trust in coin collecting by providing objective, repeatable data to complement traditional subjective grading.
